FRANK-Group counts with “ÖkoSiedlung Friedrichsdorf” on PROPSTER
Since March 2015, the FRANK Group and the City of Friedrichsdorf have been realising their dream of a sustainable eco-settlement:
The FRANK and FRIEDA Eco-Settlement Friedrichsdorf. Real estate is being built there that will be home to families, couples, singles and senior citizens who are looking for an idyllic place to retreat and relax, but who also appreciate quick access to life in the big city.
In two construction phases, chain, terraced and semi-detached houses, rental and owner-occupied apartments, a daycare center and a senior citizens’ facility are being built. In addition, a modern residential tower made of wood will offer a great view of the Frankfurt skyline and the Taunus Mountains. Forest and orchards border the quarter. Part of the old tree population will be preserved and integrated into the design of the open spaces. The social centre of the complex will be the central square. Structural engineering was started at the beginning of 2018. At the end of 2019, the first residents can plan their move in. The second construction phase will start in 2020.
A total of around 350 residential units will be built in the eco-settlement. The properties are available partly for purchase and partly for rent. At present, all 67 garden townhouses have already been sold; the 11 semi-detached houses and the 28 freehold apartments are currently being sold. The remaining residential units will be included in the sales process by the end of 2020 at the latest.
